When Paddy Hopkirk took a Mini to the 1964 Monte Carlo rally, he was far from the favoured racer. So when he took home the first-place trophy in his bright red ride, no one looked at Mini the same way again (there were another two wins after that, just in case you don’t know).

Meet our celebration of the MINI challenger spirit and the victory we never doubted – the Paddy Hopkirk Special Edition MINI. Just like Paddy’s 1964 rally car, this special edition is a race car in red. Set off with contrasting white roof and wing mirrors and statement black bonnet scoop, it sits proud on 17” Track Spoke alloys in a Cooper S variant or Black 18” 506 style alloys in a John Cooper Works variant and both with a jet-black MINI badge. Oh, and there’s a racing stripe. Naturally.

This special edition is full of nods to the car that made Paddy and MINI champions. The bold ‘37’ on the side pays homage to Paddy’s original rally car, and when you take a closer look inside, you’ll find Paddy Hopkirk’s autograph.
